Before law school, a payroll desk

Alton worked in payroll before he went to law school. He knows how a time clock rounds, how a bonus gets recoded and where a final check can quietly shrink. When a worker brings him a pay problem, he goes to the numbers first.

He leads the Dallas office and handles pay claims and wrongful termination matters. He is known in the firm for explaining every fee agreement out loud before anyone signs it.

Away from the desk, he coaches a youth baseball team on weekends and keeps a short list of restaurants where the staff still get the tips.
