A restaurant family, and both sides of a tip pool

Quynh grew up in her parents’ restaurant, doing homework in a back booth. She learned early how little room a small employer has for error, and how little a worker has when the pay goes wrong.

She runs the Plano office and handles wage and hour claims and severance reviews. She sees clients in English and Vietnamese, and she keeps Wednesday evenings open for people who cannot leave work in time.

She represents only employees. What she learned at the restaurant is why she is careful about every number.
